Stage 5 The length has already been cleared. BW are relining this length in conjunction with the by-pass diversion.

January 2002: Looking towards Drayton Bridge from the end of the Aston Clinton bypass. Oct 2002: The Drayton Beauchamp wock is being done by Nuttalls. they have exposed the old pipeline.

Dec 2002 the base is poured and the reinforcement is going in for the new towpath wall under the bridge and the wing walls February 2003 The Drayton Beauchamp work from the by-pass work to Drayton Bridge is Complete.

March 2003: The finished canal section at Drayton Beauchamp. The wall you can see to your right is the end of the farm wharf. This is where the new sump will be to take water back into the pipeline.
